Welcome friends! This is my new blog and I am beyond excited to start this journey with all of you. I love to write and feel that I should make more of an effort to maintain a blog and write about whatever I feel. I want this to be a space to lift people up, to share new experiences with an audience that wants to learn and explore.
COVID-19 Quarantine
I’ve been in quarantine at home for two weeks now thanks to COVID-19. The last day I worked was March 16th. It was supposed to be my second week of training with the scheduling team. In this newfound free time I have watched a lot of TV, visited two nature preserves, cooked and baked, started water color painting and played a lot of Animal Crossing on the Switch.
I really miss working and seeing all my friends at work. I flourish around people, so my mental health has taken a bit hit from social distancing. I continue to work on staying mentally active, but have had a couple mental break downs during all of this. It’s not easy to be super active to almost sedentary. Plus everything in the news is very overwhelming. Sometimes the best thing to do is break down and cry.
