Here you’ll find a collection of place I’ve visited and the photos I’ve taken of them. I use an Olympus Pen E-PL7 camera with a M.Zuiko 14-42 mm lens with and without the Olympus SUR-3746 adapter. I am a self caught hobbyist macro-photographer.

Mounts Botanical Garden
Explored a brand new garden in West Palm Beach. Mounts Botanical Garden was born from one man’s dedication to his community and farmers, Marvin Umphrey “Red” Mounts. From there, others supported the mission to educate Floridians and fruits and eventually the gardens became a must-visit destination for nature lover’s everywhere.

Ravine Gardens State Park
A short camping trip to discover a beautiful park not too far from home. Ravine State Gardens boasts beautiful azalea bushes, paths of different heights, and a suspension bridge. The park sits in “ancient ravines that have been transformed into a rustic tropical garden”. The permanent steephead ravines are continuously cut away from a never ending spring-fed creek bubbling up, the Whitehead Branch.

Joshua Tree National Park
I took my first trip to the west coast and landed in California!! Just a few hours from LA sits Joshua Tree National Park, which spans the Mojave and Colorado desert. It was beautiful! I was blown away by the park and there attention to detail and education. I learned so much about the land and history. Also I shared this experience with my friend! This was her first time camping and we had a memorable time together.

Ocala National Forest
I took a weekend to camp in Ocala National Forest at Salt Springs Recreation Area with a sorority sister. While the weekend was kind of cold and wet we still made the most of it exploring some historical homes and landmarks in the area. As well as walking around Juniper Springs.

Everglades National Park
First Florida National Park in the winter and I still got eaten alive by mosquitoes! I camped at the Flamingo Campground which is a short walk to the water. Unfortunately didn’t spot any crocs or gators in the wild but I absolutely loved slogging through a cypress dome! I highly recommend experiencing the park this way.

Third Winchester Battlefield Park
While visiting Virginia for a friend’s wedding at stopped at this historic site since it was on the way to the hotel! The sun was starting to set and the weather was gorgeous for a walk around the park. The Third Winchester Battlefield park is a 600-acre park with trails, interpretic markers, restored landmarks and a visitor.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park
I went camping outside Cuyahoga Valley National Park alone! This beautiful and free national park is outside Cleveland, Ohio. It is rich in history and overflowing with wildlife returning to the park. I visited the Brandywine Falls, rode the Scenic Train, and followed a dry river bed to see the Twin Sisters Falls. But these notable places are only a small piece of what I explored!

Mangrove Shell Trees
From Clearwater beach you can walk north along the coast to an area called Mangrove Shell Trees. Here you’ll discover a hidden treasure! If you continue along the beach you’ll even find a sign indicating the edge of Caladesi State Park.

Ethyl M Cactus Garden
I just had to come see this cactus garden again and this time I brought some friends. “Ethel M Chocolates’ breathtaking Botanical Cactus Garden is Nevada’s largest and one of the world’s most prolific collections of its kind. Based on the English landscape model of naturalistic design, the Ethel M Botanical Cactus Garden features three acres of drought-tolerant ornamental, cacti, and other succulents.
