Greetings!! My name is Katie. Over the years, I tried to create several blogs, but have lacked the determination and motivation to continue what I started. The biggest loss was losing a blog I created my senior year of high school back in 2013. When applying for college I used a social media platform for my application instead of submitting my SAT scores. The university I was accepted into and attended believed more in my academic, social, and humanitarian successes than a test score
During the spring of my junior year of college, 2017, I flew to Namibia for 8 weeks and assisted an environmental education organization. It was seriously the adventure of a lifetime and I will forever be grateful for the opportunity. Prior to the trip I decided to purchase a decent camera to photograph everything. By doing so, I sparked a new joy in life and established a hobby: photography. I am self-taught and am exploring so mush more to do with my camera. I am thankful for my friends who help me on my learning path to becoming a better, more confident photographer.
In 2018 I moved to Florida after graduating college to pursue my dreams of working in Entertainment at Universal Orlando Resort. My life changed for the better and I couldn’t be happier where I am now. Through hard work and consistent effort, I am growing as a leader every day. My management believes in my abilities and has acknowledged them on many occasions though recognition, as well as leadership training opportunities.
I feel so blessed. I feel so grateful. I feel so loved. My life is not a chore and neither is going to work every day. I hope what I’ve shared helps you understand a little bit more about me as I continue to create new content on this blog. I want to work at this blog and make it apart of my daily routine because I also to write.
Thanks for reading to the end of my About Me page. Buckle up, get ready, and let the ride begin!
