Change is Inevitable
Change acording to Merriam-Webster is to make different in some particular, but I think it is so much more. Change is inevitbale in line and it can appear in ways that are scary or joyous. Sometimes change is difficult, while at other times it seems easy. You may even doubt actions you’ve taken that leadContinue reading “Change is Inevitable”
You can take the challenge head on
The end of February is quickly approaching and I honestly can’t believe how fast time flies when it still feels like I’m crawling through each day. Don’t get me wrong, I love my life. I have a job, an amazing partner, supportive family and friends, but over the last few weeks I’ve been feeling aContinue reading “You can take the challenge head on”
Congaree National Park
Congaree National Park is an absolute gem on the southeastern coast. After spending about 2 days in the park in early March 2024, I realized I needed to come back to experience more of this beautiful and peaceful palce. The scene before me didn’t evenContinue reading “Mount Rainier National Park”

Zion National Park
It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 5 years since I visited Zion National Park. In 2019 I spent a full day surrounded by nature and completed the hike to Angel’s Landing. Along the way I hiked the Grotto Trail and part of the West Rim Trail to Scout’s Lookout, right before Angel’s Landing begins.Continue reading “Zion National Park”
Free Verse Poetry
I’ve been writing free form/verse poetry since 2008. And this was a few years after I read Out of the Dust by Karen Hesse. I fell in love with the format and poetry in this book. So over the last few weeks I’ve been writing more. Trying to find the right words to explain myContinue reading “Free Verse Poetry”
