Change acording to Merriam-Webster is to make different in some particular, but I think it is so much more. Change is inevitbale in line and it can appear in ways that are scary or joyous. Sometimes change is difficult, while at other times it seems easy. You may even doubt actions you’ve taken that lead to a change. Whether you have experienced change in the past or are currently experiencing it, change is inevitable.

Meet Winston, our energetic English Bulldog. At the time of writing this he’s only 10 weeks old and loves biting everything. He’s such a little sweeheart and the perfect addition to our family. He’s the first puppy I’ve ever had and it’s been a huge adjustment for me. I’m a cat person, so walking, bathing, and playing with Winston is all brand new and I can’t help but feel completely lost sometimes. I don’t know what I’m doing and I wonder if what I am doing is good enough for him. This kinda of change has rattled me more than I expected and talking about it with Erik has helped a lot. I know that Winston is a puppy and he’s going to grow and learn. In the process I think I’m going to grow and learn as well. Learn to have a little more patience. Learn when to take deep breath. Learn how to manage new responsibilities with my partner so our needs are also taken care of.

Some of my favorite moments so far have been watching Erik play with Winston, bringing Winston to get ice cream and he loved his pup cup, teaching Winston to sit, and showing photos off to everyone willing to look. I am over joyed to see how happy Erik is to take care and love Winston since he’s been wanting a dog for years. He’s one loved and spoiled pup! And while it’s been a big change, I know that it’ll get better. I know that I have love and support to get through raising a puppy. At the end of te day he adds so much to our life.
