So a few days ago, one of my friends on Facebook shared that she went blueberry picking. What a fantastic idea, I thought, then proceeded to share the idea with my roommate and boyfriend. To my delight, everyone was onboard! So fast forward to today, we drove to Cavallo Farm & Market in Citrus County, Florida to pick some berries!

I ended up picking 2.0 pounds of blueberries. Can’t believe it was 2.0 even! My boyfriend had a blast picking his blueberries and ended up with 4.4 pounds!! However, he did not like that I kept trying to take his photo while picking. He claimed I was distracting him. I merely wanted to capture the happy times.
The weather was beautiful today: sunny, not too hot, and a nice breeze. We all enjoyed getting out of the house and doing something fun out in the middle of nowhere. This is definitely a place we want to visit again. Happy picking and happy eating!

Blueberries – my favourite, we have four plants, it will be a while before we get any this year though. It’s pouring down today. At least they won’t need watering. 😊 What are you going to do with the pounds you have picked???
